Principal Solution Architect
Alastair Johnson (AJ) is a principal solution architect with Nuage Networks, based in Mountain View, California. AJ’s focus is working directly with customers to introduce, explain, and expand technology based on Nudge Networks portfolio of products - solving customer problems through new, innovative WAN services for Enterprises and Service Providers targeting the Enterprise market. AJ was previously a senior product manager responsible for Alcatel-Lucent’s 7750 SR family of routers focusing on Internet related technologies, such as IPv6 and Internet Peering/Backbone. AJ has been with Alcatel-Lucent for 10 years in a variety of roles located around the world, primarily carrier customer focused in the IP/solutions space.
VP Commercial Development
After joining Expereo 10 years ago and setting up its first international office in Singapore back in 2008, Sander now works out of the Global Head Quarters in Amsterdam as the VP Commercial Development. His team is spread out globally across 5 offices and combined manage about 2,500 local partners that make up all the portfolio and buying options of Expereo. Before joining Expereo Sander worked out of Australia for BT Global Services and Infonet Services Corp. His Telecom career started in 2006 with Unisource Business Services in Europe. Nice to know fact: before Sander went into telecom he was a helicopter pilot.
Head of Network Architecture
Michael Becerra is an IT Professional with 17+ years of experience working in the Information Technology field and has been with DHL since 2005. He is currently the Head of Network Architecture based out of Singapore and is responsible for developing architecture, standards, roadmaps and risk mitigation across Data Networks, Network Security and Unified Communication & Collaboration services for DHL globally.
He is a key contributor to group-wide Telecoms governance bodies with the mission to provide technical guidance and leadership in order to maintain cost effective, cohesive and sustainable service offerings. He is also currently a member of the Innovation Committee driving both Technical and Cultural change within IT Services at DHL. In addition, he acts as technical lead for telecoms optimization sourcing initiatives drafting technical requirements, evaluating suppliers and participating in negotiations.
Recently Michael has led the planning and architecture for IPv6 going forward and completed the service introduction for migrating user internet access to a Cloud Proxy service. He is currently working on a Network Security Framework with the aim to clearly translate security policy into technical requirements as well as leading a proof of value initiative to understand both the technical and financial benefits of migrating to a Hybrid WAN architecture at DHL.
Over his career he has spent time based in the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific regions while working in the Petroleum, Education and Logistics industries. He also holds a B.S. in Mathematical Sciences from New Mexico State University.
Senior Manager, Enterprise Research
Senior Manager Greg Bryan joined TeleGeography in 2006 and has specialized in pricing and market analysis for the wholesale and enterprise long haul and network markets. While at TeleGeography, he has worked on designing, creating, and launching several new data products including the Enterprise Networks Pricing Service, IP Transit Pricing Database, Ethernet Pricing Service and Global Enterprise Networks. Most recently he has helped TeleGeography’s pricing practice move beyond the long haul network with the creation of the Local Access Pricing Service. Mr. Bryan’s primary focus is on networks and pricing for the Americas, however, he tracks and is familiar with global markets. He is a frequent presenter on the geography and pricing of submarine cables and enterprise networks, particularly at telecom conferences with a focus on the Americas. Mr. Bryan earned a B.A. in Political Science from American University, an M.A. in Geography from the University of Maryland, and a J.D. from George Mason University School of Law. He previously taught Geography as an Adjunct Professor at Marymount University in Virginia.
Pascal serves as CTO for MEF and is a former Principal at Microsoft Skype for Business Global Carrier Group. Pascal is a proven technology thought leader, sales evangelist, product manager and seasoned IP architect with decades of experience in internetworking, next-generation information systems, and communication architectures.
As the founder of TSCM Technology he is focused on the building of cloud scale architectures and real-time media networks using Software Defined Networks (SDN), Network Function Virtualization (NFV) and Lifecycle Service Orchestration (LSO). As one of the leading industry experts in Unified Communication (UC) and SDN he is a UCStrategies Expert, pioneer of Unified Communications (UC) and Software Defined Networks (SDN), Chair of UC SDN Task Group at International Multimedia Telecommunication Consortium (IMTC), Vice-Chair of Open Network Foundation (ONF) NBI Working Group and Co-Founder and former Vice-Chair of Wi-Fi Alliance Task Group Mobile Multimedia Over Wi-Fi. Pascal has done five startups with multiple successes, has received numerous industry awards and has presented extensively in numerous events globally. Pascal holds 4 patents with 25 additional patents pending and has co-authored many standards in the IETF, MEF, IMTC and Broadband Forum (MPLS).

Cedric is leading the teams that build the next generation networks supporting Myrepublic innovative product and service offerings to consumer, enterprise and carrier segments across MyRepublic regional footprint. He led the deployment of the network that enabled the launch in early 2014
by MyRepublic Singapore of the market shaping 1Gbps Internet access for S$49. He is now working with the MyRepublic team to drive further
network and service innovation to regional markets. He’s the former COO of Pixelmetrix (Singapore), a leading digital TV monitoring vendor and has
previously held senior role at Vodafone Group (UK), SFR (France) and Sagem (France).
Chief Economic and Policy Advisor
Rajah & Tann Singapore, LLP
Tanya joined Rajah & Tann’s Competition and TMT practice as its Chief Economic and Policy Advisor, giving the practice the unique capability of providing fully integrated legal and economic advice to clients.
Tanya has extensive competition and regulatory experience, having worked in the policy and competition team at the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA), as well as the Competition Commission of Singapore (CCS). At IDA, Tanya’s key responsibilities included implementing the Telecom and Postal Competition Codes, such as assessing M&A applications and investigating alleged anti-competitive practices. She also led key policy and regulatory reviews, such as reviews of the Telecom Competition Code and guidelines, as well as the Quality of Service frameworks for telecom services. At CCS, Tanya was responsible for conducting economic analysis for investigation
of competition cases. Her experience includes assessing complex mergers (including conducting two Phase 2 merger reviews) and leading cases involving abuse of dominance. Tanya has also participated in dawn raids to gather information for CCS’ investigations.
Head of Global Fixed Connectivity Products

Mark Bennett joined Vodafone in 2012 and is accountable for a portfolio of fixed connectivity products which are sold through Vodafone Global Enterprise and local market operating companies. Over the last few years, he has produced ExCo business cases to accelerate growth in fixed WAN products and has led their successful execution. Prior to joining Vodafone, Mark held senior product management roles in Cable and Wireless Worldwide, where he was responsible for IP-VPN MPLS WAN products as well as customer access strategy. Also, at THUS the mid-market division of Cable and Wireless in the UK, where he headed up the Data Products Portfolio. Mark has an MBA from Henley Management College.
IT Director, Infrastructure & Operations
Lucas Goh is a seasoned IT executive with years of experience in IT operations and infrastructure management at global manufacturing companies. Lucas currently is the IT Director for Infrastructure and Operations at Volex and is responsible for design, deployment, configuration and maintenance of the entire IT Infrastructure landscape and operations across the Volex group of companies.
With his business experience and having a well certified IT technical background, Lucas provides unique insights and explanations of making business and logical sense of IT investments and initiatives
Prior to joining Volex, Lucas served as the Global IT Infrastructure Manager of Caterpillar Propulsion.
