Peter Ingleson
Network Communication Manager

Peter Ingleson leads the Network and Communications team for the Atradius group responsible for the global data connectivity, collaboration, call centre’s and network security services. He has day-to-day responsibility for the smooth running of the services and management of the providers.  Currently working on various transitional projects such as SD-WAN, Cloud and the Digital Transformation of the business. With over 20 years experience in the connectivity area he feels he has heard most excuses a telco has to offer but still hopes to be surprised.


Robin Atkin
Network Architect

Robin Atkin is a network architect at Barclays.  Robin specialises in routing and QoS which has led to a lot of work designing and building WANs over the years.  He was lead engineer on Barclays MPLS backbone and SDWAN projects and is keeping a watchful eye on the company's current SDWAN rollout.  Robin has over 20 years' experience, primarily working for banks in deployment, design and architecture roles.


Adrian Comley
General Manager of Dynamic Network Services

Adrian currently leads the development of new products and services based on SD-WAN, SDN and NFV for our network portfolio. He has 12 years of experience in developing propositions around networking products. His work has included building MPLS products for our networking portfolio and close collaboration with partners, such as Riverbed and InfoVista, to deliver managed applications performance management services.


Mark Bayne
Director of SE, EMEA

Mark Bayne is an IT Security Professional, with 22 years’ industry experience. Having started as a Security Administrator in a small IT consultancy, Mark learned the trade in a small dynamic environment where IT security requirements were only beginning to be understood. Continuing his specialisation, Mark spent most of the following 6 years working in the Security Pre-Sales team at Nokia, progressing to running the Greater China region, focusing on security appliances running CheckPoint and VPN technologies. As network security appliances began to dominate and saturate the market, Mark joined Imperva to focus on the new Application and Data Security space, pioneered by Shlomo Kramer. After 9 years, where Imperva developed from small start-up to a leading public Security vendor, Mark joined Cato Networks in 2016.


Claudio Scola
Director of Product Management EMEA

Claudio Scola heads the Product Management team for CenturyLink and is responsible for go-to-market strategy and planning for network-based services. Claudio has over 25 years’ experience in the international telecommunications industry, spending the last 16 years bringing new products and services to market and growing them into key revenue streams for the business. Prior to joining CenturyLink, Claudio served in various product related roles for Tata Communications, Level 3, Easynet, Interoute and Cable & Wireless, bringing Internet and network services to the international enterprise and wholesale market with particular experience in the European managed network services.  Claudio is British and based in CenturyLink’s EMEA regional headquarters in London.


James Kirkby
EAME Network Manager

James Kirkby is an enthusiastic, self-motivated enterprise network manager with 15 years' experience in IT. Having a passion for technology and interest in networking from a young age, he was destined to work in the communications field. Starting as a network engineer and progressing into senior technical roles, James decided to take on a new challenge providing management and leadership to technical teams. James has since led and managed network teams and associated services for large enterprises including CGG Services, John Lewis Partnership and Prospects Services, and overseen numerous service improvement projects including large scale wired and WiFi network installations, data centre and wide area network upgrades/new technology implementations, IP telephony/contact centre solutions and design/improvement of network services using the ITIL framework. 


Adam Hill

Adam Hill leads the Cisco SD-WAN Technical Solution Architects in EMEAR.  He and his team provide strategic insight into customers across markets, from Service Providers to Enterprises, assisting with the comprehension of SD-WAN, it’s architectural impact and alignment to business imperatives. Adam has been involved in the networking and IT/Security industry for over 15 years holding a variety of positions, ranging from operational roles, to leading the strategy for innovation within a Global Communication Service Providers. Almost inevitably in the current climate, this has culminated in Adam further developing the industries perception of SDN, leveraging his knowledge and drive around SD-WAN propositions, aligned to insight around end customer requirements; first as an employee of Viptela, and now Cisco Systems. Adam holds a degree in Computer Science, as well as numerous independent and vendor based qualifications.

Phil Wood

Phil Wood is the Head of Service Delivery and IT Security at EasyJet.  He is accountable for the day-to-day operations for all easyJet systems, including Infrastructure, networks, end user compute, Service delivery and IT Security. Leads numerous large scale IT programmes to improve stability and security of our underlying infrastructure and end user computing. 


Sander Barens 

After joining Expereo 11 years ago and setting up the first international Expereo office in Singapore back in 2008, Sander now works out of the HQ in Amsterdam as the Chief Commercial Officer. His team is spread out globally across 5 offices. Before joining Expereo Sander worked out of Australia for BT Global Services and Infonet Services Corp. His telecom career started in 1997 with Unisource Business Services and AT&T Unisource in Europe. Nice to know fact: before Sander went into telecom he was a helicopter pilot.


Bryce Jewell
Managing Director UK & US

Bryce Jewell is the Managing Director for UK and the US. He is responsible for developing and driving the overall business strategy in the United Kingdom and the enterprise business in the United States. He joined GCX in 2014 as the Director of Corporate Development to lead strategic sales initiatives and was appointed as acting Managing Director of UK in 2015, continuing his track record of driving growth across the Enterprise business and building strategic partnerships. Prior to joining the company, Bryce served as Director of Sales for Pacnet (now Telstra) in Europe. His experience also includes management roles at the former Vanco (now GCX), Telstra Internet Direct in Australia and iTet AS in Norway.

Recently his focus has been creating successful Internet, SDWAN & Cloud networking propositions for global businesses. He has industry recognized expertise in defining & sourcing connectivity (especially low cost & high performance internet) for SDWAN solutions. At Globalinternet, a leading supplier of Internet Access Services, as VP of Strategic Development Mike is heading up the development a new service & solution model that meets the needs of leading enterprises that are critically reliant on internet connectivity for the success of their business.

Samir Desai
Director of Product Management EMEA

Samir Desai is Director of Product Management and leads the managed services portfolio at GTT. He’s also responsible for next generation enterprise WAN solutions, including software-defined networking, cloud connectivity and security services on the GTT global network. Samir has over 15 years of wide-ranging product development and marketing management experience in the Telecommunications industry. Prior to joining GTT, Samir spent nine years at Level 3 Communications where he managed their security, IPVPN and managed network services. Samir holds an MSc in Data Communications from Brunel University in London.


Peter Job

As founder and CEO, Peter has spent 13 years helping IT executives retain control of their digital ecosystems. After starting Intergence in 2003 Peter went on to create Hyperglance, the world’s first 3D visualisation tool for IT infrastructure and application process flows. He has brought that expertise to bear in the creation of Stratiam – Intergence’s cornerstone technology platform. Previously Peter held senior sales and management positions at Gandalf, Alcatel, ThruPoint and Omnetica. Outside of technology his passions include sport and if he wasn’t running Intergence he would love to be part of an F1 pit crew.

With a background in managing the voice and data network at Alliance Healthcare France, David has then relocated to UK to lay the foundations of the shared Head of Network Services for Walgreens Boots Alliance. From there David moved into the role of Senior Network Manager at News UK where he has been for two year working on the News Corp. digital transformation strategy.


Laurent Zimmerli
Head of Product Marketing

Laurent is the Head of Product Marketing for Open Systems. He has over 10 years of experience in the world of managed network and security services. He held positions in various areas, starting in development and network and security operations, continuing in technical account management and pre-sales, followed by product management and product marketing. Laurent is based in Zurich, Switzerland, and holds a MSc degree in Computer Science from ETH Zurich. 


Alan Stewart-Brown

Alan Stewart-Brown manages the EMEA region for Opengear, a leading provider of Smart Out-of-Band Management Solutions which ensure organisations have resilient, secure, remote access to their critical network infrastructure whether in the datacentre or remote sites. Alan has over 25 years IT experience gained across the technology sector, including Wireless LAN, Enterprise Software, BI Analytics and e-Commerce. Before joining Opengear Alan spent 8 years at Xirrus & prior to that Alan held Senior Pan-European Management positions at Fiserv, AIM Technology, eColor and Phoenix Technologies. Alan holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Imperial College, London.


Andy Gottlieb
VP, SD-WAN Solutions

Andy is Vice President, SD-WAN Solutions at Oracle Communications. A leading expert in WAN/LAN switching and routing, Andy was co-founder and CMO of Talari Networks and served as its first CEO after previously serving in executive roles in both startups and public corporations. He was Vice President of Marketing at RouteScience, a route optimization startup, and before that led marketing at MMC Networks, the pioneering Network Processor developer, through its $4.5B acquisition by Applied Micro Circuits Corporation (AMCC) in 2000. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wesleyan University and a Master of Science degree in computer science from Stanford University.


Leo Whyte
Principal Consultant

Leo Whyte is a Principal Consultant at PA Consulting, where he is a member of the Networks practice which helps clients extract more value, reduce costs and deliver innovation with their enterprise networks.  Leo has over 20+ years of experience working both as a supplier for leading telecoms organisations and as a client-side advisor for Enterprise customers looking to transform their networks.  He has advised a diverse range of clients across Financial Services, Energy & Utilities and Transport on their network strategy, architecture, benefits realisation and procurement.  Leo currently leads the Enterprise Network Security proposition and capability within the PA, in collaboration with PA’s Digital Trust and Cyber Security capability. 


Greg Ferro

Greg Ferro is the co-host of Packet Pushers Podcast at where for 10 years he has interviewed engineers, vendors and industry figures on a range of highly technical topics where the motto is “Too Much Technology Would Never Be Enough”. Greg survived 25 years in Enterprise IT as a Network Architect and Engineer working in the Europe and Asia focused on design and deployment of Data Centres including Network Fabrics, Data Security, Cloud and Internet.


Divya Mahajan
Head of Digital Networks

In his 17 year career with Philips, Divya has had a range of roles leading on technological innovation. After joining from Deloitte, where he worked as a senior consultant, Divya initially worked as a lead architect. He then worked on Philips’ Google Glass project before he became head of IT for Philips Healthcare. As the head of Digital Networks he is now driving the transformation of Philips HealthCare’s network with the latest SD-WAN technology.


Steve Foster
Business Solution Architect

Steve Foster has been the UK’s principle Solutions Architect at Riverbed Technology since the beginning of March 2018. Prior to that, he held several pre-sales roles at Riverbed having joined the company in 2007. Steve’s role requires him to provide consultative technical expertise and support for existing and prospective enterprise customer engagements across the complete portfolio of Riverbed solutions. Furthermore, Steve helps Riverbed’s partner community in their development of value added Riverbed solutions. Steve brings more than 25+ years’ experience in the IT sector, having previously worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at Solace Systems, and prior to that, he spent six years at Cisco Systems in a technical sales role. Steve graduated from Horsted Technical College and completed an Apprenticeship in Avionic Electronics.


Simon Pamplin
Technical Sales Director, EMEA

Simon Pamplin is the EMEA Technical Sales Director for Silver Peak and a regular speaker at events on topics ranging from the latest storage technologies and server virtualization to the current shift in Data Networking towards SD-WAN. With over 20 years’ experience in enterprise IT Simon has worked for IP, SAN and hyper-convergent companies and is driven by new technology and the business benefits it can bring.


Lionel Ho
Associate Director Customer Solutions

Lionel has been working for more than 19 years in the ICT Business of which 13 years with Singtel in the pre-sales division. Specialised to innovative services for Global Enterprise business customers. During his career, Lionel worked as an Internet specialist, MPLS Solution Architect,  Internal Trainer for new technology as well as presales consultant. The challenges Lionel covers these days are the local internet integration into corporate networks, hybrid routing approaches, Software defined WAN, Network Function Virtualisation, innovative network management and reporting as well as technical contract management.


Paolo Casaschi

Paolo is currently responsible for Sprint Business sales across EMEA, leading the sales and sales support teams while driving product and network strategies in the region. Paolo has 25 years of experience in the telecommunication industry in a variety of roles, predominantly between Sales, Sales Support and Product Development. Richard Brown
Managing Director

Richard Brown is Managing Director at Straxia, a network centric IT consultancy. Straxia provide our clients with the vendor independent expertise they need to be confident in their networking infrastructure. Our technical, service and project management experts have many years of hands-on experience in delivering benefits to our clients, whether that be through benchmarking, helping to build the business case for change, sourcing, managing the transformation program or ensuring the right operational model is put in place to deliver the expected benefits. Before forming Straxia ten years ago, Richard had an extensive career in the field of telecommunications spanning both enterprises and telcos including BP and Verizon and can remember when 9.6Kbps was considered to be quite fast. 


Steve McKeaveney
Director – Solutions Engineering

Steve joined Tata Communications in 2012 and has been instrumental in developing the go to market strategy for their SD-WAN and Hybrid WAN service offerings, helping global multinationals realise a more agile operation. He has recently taken responsibility for pre-sales solution architecture and technology development across the European region. He has worked across a diverse range functions within telecommunications, starting his careers as an electronics engineer in the Royal Air Force 30 years ago. Prior to joining Tata Communications, Steve worked for Reliance Communications, Vanco, Greenwich Technology Partners  and Madge Networks.

Rubén Núñez García
Global Product Marketing Manager - Wide Area Network Services

Rubén Núñez is a Telecommunications Engineer from Spain with qualifications from Universiteit Hasselt and IESE Business School. He has held positions in Engineering, Product and Project Management for leading technology companies such as Siemens, Terra Networks, BT Global Services and Motorola. In 2008 he joined Telefónica International Wholesale Services and has since taken on roles across the Telefónica Group, including Pre-Sales Specialist for MNCs, as well as Global Solution & Innovation Manager and IoT Global Product Manager. In 2015 he was appointed Global Product Marketing Manager for the Global B2B Communications Services area where he is responsible for leading Business and Product Development activities. Rubén has extensive experience in applying innovation, digitalization and agility to Network Services, Cloud Services, IoT, Security, Mobile and Fixed Accesses across the global B2B arena.


Greg Bryan
Senior Manager, Enterprise Research

Senior Manager Greg Bryan joined TeleGeography in 2006 and has specialized in pricing and market analysis for the wholesale and enterprise long haul and network markets. While at TeleGeography, he has worked on designing, creating, and launching several new data products focused on wholesale and enterprise pricing as well as enterprise services. Mr. Bryan’s primary focus is on enterprise wide area networks including our benchmarking practice and serving as the chair for several of our WAN Summit conferences around the world. Mr. Bryan earned a B.A. in Political Science from American University, an M.A. in Geography from the University of Maryland, and a J.D. from George Mason University School of Law. He previously taught Geography as an Adjunct Professor at Marymount University in Virginia.

Patrick Christian

Patrick Christian is a Senior Analyst with TeleGeography. Patrick has over 15 years of telecom market research experience. Patrick heads the Cloud and WAN Infrastructure research service. He also focuses on West African and European markets specializing in international bandwidth markets and Internet infrastructure, WAN services, terrestrial and submarine cable systems, and international voice traffic analysis. He holds an M.A. from Arizona State University.

Robert Schult
Research Director

Robert Schult is a Research Director with TeleGeography. He manages the company’s wholesale and enterprise pricing research groups, and leads efforts benchmarking Enterprise WAN services and developing new research products. Over the past 13 years he has led research efforts and consulting projects worldwide and developed comprehensive knowledge of international infrastructure and service provider service portfolios. He has also moderated panels and presented TeleGeography data at numerous international telecom events. Robert holds an MBA from London Business School and a Bachelors of Science from the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. 


Matthew Miskulin
Head of Network Development & Ecosystem

Matthew Miskulin heads up the Network Development and Ecosystem functions at Telia Carrier. He led the development of Telia’s Cloud Connectivity solution which was launched in May 2018 and represents the ‘voice of the customer’ for all things Cloud Connectivity. Over the last 3.5 year Matthew has held various roles in the Product organisation and prior to Telia worked for a consultancy firm focused on buy-side due diligence. Matthew is based in London and holds a BSC in Neuroscience from the University of Nottingham.


Simon Niland
Head of Next Generation Networks, EMEA and the Americas

Simon is Head of Next Generation Networks for Telstra where he is responsible for developing new software defined horizons with Software Defined Networking, uCPE and SD-WAN across EMEA and the Americas. With over 25 years of experience in telecommunications, Simon has a wealth of technical experience across various roles at leading industry players, including Easynet Global Services. He has a BSc Hons degree in computing and business studies from De Monfort University, UK.


Adrian Joyce
Head of Consulting

Adrian is the Head of Consulting at The Network Collective. He runs some of TNC’s largest UK and international WAN, Data Centre, Voice and Mobile procurement projects. Adrian has been in the telecom’s industry for nearly 25 years in both sales and service functions and as a result has established a wide background of telecoms experience. He was previously an Account Manager at Reliance Globalcom (formerly Vanco) where he worked in their VNO business looking after some of their largest accounts such as the Lloyds Banking Group, IBM and British Airways. Adrian has also previously worked for a number of years at MCI WorldCom (now Verizon) and prior to that at Vodafone.


Neil Miller
Director of Solutions Engineering

Neil Miller is the Solutions Engineering Manager for ThousandEyes in EMEA, ThousandEyes are the market leader in Network Intelligence. Joining in 2014 Neil worked to build the initial EMEA region as a Solutions Engineer focussing on the Enterprise Market. Neil is now building a high quality team of Solutions Engineers to enable ThousandEyes to better support its customers across the EMEA region as they grow. Neils primary focus is to ensure ThousandEyes customers are able to reduce their risks when moving towards Internet centric service delivery, enable WAN transformation and increase the depth of knowledge regarding User Experience. Neil has a BSc (hons) in Computer and Network Engineering, and over 10 years of Pre-Sales experience.


James Walker
Executive Director, Global Network Architecture CTO

James Walker joined UBS in April 2019 as the CTO for Global Network Architecture. He defines the technology roadmap and design of UBS’s network, which supports 90,000 users and 3,500 applications across almost 1,000 sites around the globe and a rapidly expanding cloud presence. Prior to starting at UBS he was responsible for innovation at Interxion, a pan-European carrier neutral datacentre operator; and between 2016 and 2018 he worked for Zenzu, a boutique consulting firm that focuses on procurement, M&A due diligence, and strategy in the Internet infrastructure space. Before 2016 he held a number of senior roles in network operators and IT firms in a career spanning 25 years.


Sanjay Uppal
VP & General Manager

Sanjay Uppal, VP and GM of VeloCloud, now part of VMware, has over twenty years of experience in bringing innovative networking products to market and in growing successful business organizations as well as in product definition, development, marketing and delivery of software, security, mobile applications, and networking products. In 2012, Sanjay co-founded VeloCloud, Inc., serving as its CEO until it was acquired by VMware in 2017. Sanjay has held strategic positions at companies such as OnMobile Global, Citrix Systems, Webvan, and HP. Sanjay has an MS of Management Science and Engineering from Stanford and an MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Wisconsin-Madison.


Nick Conway

Nick has over 30 years’ experience within networks and telecoms and provides strategic leadership utilising technology as a key business enabler. He is adept at influencing and facilitating strategic and technical change within progressive organisations. Combining Programme Management skills with an extensive technical background, conceptualises and delivers innovative solutions, with meaningful benefits aligned them to corporate objectives.


Steve Glasgow
Director (Smart Networks)

Steve has over 30 years’ experience within networks and telecoms and specialises in providing high value strategic advice to global organisations. Steve manages and deliver complex engagements with leading international organisations, which spans strategy development through to delivery realisation and focuses on delivering tangible commercial, service and operational benefits.


Thomas Quinlan
Solution Architect

Thomas helps organisations transform from legacy hub-and-spoke network models to digitally transformed ones that take advantage of things like cloud-enablement, SDP, Zero Trust/CARTA and SDWAN. All this is with a focus on security; I have extensive experience in cloud, network, and application security, electronic discovery, digital forensics, and malware analysis, and have used these skills for prevention and investigation the world over. Thomas is certified in Computer Security (CISSP), Cloud Security (CCSK), Digital Forensics (CCFP), and Malware Reverse Engineering (GREM) and is a Certified Solutions Architect (Associate) with AWS. Thomas holds two Masters Degrees (MS IS/MBA) from Johns Hopkins University. He speaks regularly on topics related to digital transformation, security, investigation, and analysis.
