Marcel Koenig is a founding member of Ancoma, a global professional services network for infrastructure engineering and sourcing. Prior joining Ancoma, Marcel has held over 15 years key positions in strategy, pricing and solutions consulting with major national and international telecom operators including Cable & Wireless (now Vodafone), Orange Business Services, BT Global Services and the Swisscom-Verizon Alliance. His major international projects included the implementation of hybrid networks, carrier gateways and the execution of large network benchmark and consolidation projects for multinational clients. A graduate of the University of Wales, Marcel holds a BSc deg ree in business administration and a MSc degree in information technology. Being a citizen of Switzerland, Marcel is a commissioner in public infrastructure.


Dobias van Ingen
EMEA SE Director and CTO

Dobias van Ingen is the System Engineers Director and CTO for the Aruba organization within EMEA. In this role, Mr. van Ingen is responsible for the System Engineers (pre-sales) organization and technical solutions offered within EMEA. Because of his extensive knowledge in networking, Dobias is part of several technology industry groups. EMEA is a dynamic and innovative region with different segments. He sees to it that requirements and demands of EMEA organizations translates be in right vision and strategy. Therefore, he is closely involved in the development of new solutions from Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company.

Simon Lawrence
Group Manager, NS, EUS, EMEA Network Engineering

Simon is a Vice President within the Unified Communications Engineering group at BNY Mellon, a world-renowned leader in Investment Management and Investment Services. He is the architect of the global campus and branch networks for BNY Mellon.

Over a 25 year career, he has seen the transformation of the WAN from the days of X25, to ATM and frame-relay based networks; onto the MPLS networks of today. He is currently looking into the world of SD-WAN and the benefits that may bring to BNY Mellon. Simon also has extensive experience with designing network architectures for campus and branch network connectivity.

Keith Langridge
VP Network Services

Keith has over 30 years’ experience in the international telecoms business, covering a broad range of roles internationally and in the UK. He now leads a portfolio team focused on the development, in-life management and performance of all of BT’s UK and global network products, including MPLS, Ethernet, Internet and application performance management services.  

That team is currently deploying BT’s Dynamic Network Services, which includes a range of different SD-WAN services plus vCPE and NFV capability. Keith is also playing a key role in the conversations BT is having with its global customers, helping them define their roadmap to future network services. 


Mark Bayne
Director of Sales Engineering EMEA

Mark Bayne is an IT Security Professional, with 19 years’ industry experience. Having started as a Security Administrator in a small IT consultancy, Mark learned the trade in a small dynamic environment where IT security requirements were only beginning to be understood. Continuing his specialisation, Mark spent most of the following 6 years working in the Security Pre-Sales team at Nokia, progressing to running the Greater China region, focusing on security appliances running CheckPoint and VPN technologies. As network security appliances began to dominate and saturate the market, Mark joined Imperva to focus on the new Application and Data Security space, pioneered by Shlomo Kramer. 
After 9 years, where Imperva developed from small start-up to a leading public Security vendor, Mark joined Cato Networks in 2016. An extremely exciting move to a company that is redefining and disrupting the approach to Networking and Security. At Cato Networks, Mark runs the EMEA Sales Engineering team to bring value to companies with a solution providing a software-defined and cloud-based secure enterprise network, reducing MPLS costs, eliminating branch appliances, and providing secure internet access everywhere.

Adam Hill

Adam Hill works as a consultant, principally oriented towards SDWAN and NFV products within Cisco Systems.  He provides strategic insight into customers across markets, from Service Providers to Enterprises, assisting with the comprehension of SD-WAN, it’s architectural impact and alignment to Business Imperatives. 

Adam has been involved in the networking and IT/ Security industry for over 10 years holding a variety of positions, ranging from operational roles, to leading the strategy for innovation within Global Communication Service Providers. Almost inevitably in the current climate, this has culminated in Adam further developing the industries perception of SDN, leveraging his knowledge and drive around SDWAN propositions, aligned to insight around end customer requirements; first as an employee of Viptela, and now Cisco Systems. 

Adam holds a degree in Computer Science, as well a numerous independent and vendor based qualifications. 


Laurence Andrews
Global Engineer, GTS, Global Products & Engineering

Laurence Andrews is a Global Engineer at Cushman & Wakefield, a leading global real estate services firm that helps clients transform the way people work, shop, and live. At Cushman & Wakefield, Laurence specialises in Enterprise Networking and WAN, providing leadership, strategy and subject matter expertise. Most recently, Laurence led a global team of engineers and professionals through the network integration effort for the corporate merger of Cushman & Wakefield, DTZ and Cassidy Turley- a project which provided seamless delivery of critical technology services to more than 43,000 employees in over 60 countries. Laurence is now spearheading Cushman & Wakefield’s global adoption of SD-WAN, aligning closely with the organisation’s other next-generation technology initiatives and challenging conventions of traditional enterprise WAN.

Samir Desai

Samir Desai is Director of Product Management and leads the managed services portfolio at GTT.  He’s also responsible for next generation enterprise WAN solutions, including software-defined networking, cloud connectivity and security services on the GTT global network.  Samir has over 15 years of wide-ranging product development and marketing management experience in the Telecommunications industry.  Prior to joining GTT, Samir spent nine years at Level 3 Communications where he managed their security, IPVPN and managed network services.  Samir holds an MSc in Data Communications from Brunel University in London. 


Mark Lewis
EVP Products and Development

Mark Lewis is responsible for Interoute's Enterprise Networking & Communications portfolios. He is tasked with relentlessly driving the unification of voice, video and collaboration across the Interoute platform, as well as folding next generation computing capabilities into connectivity, so business users can communicate and collaborate more effectively regardless of device and location. Technical pre-sales, product development and P&L management fall into Mark’s remit, to which he brings more than a decade of industry experience. Mark has held roles in a variety of software industries, including 3D-modelling, content protection and CDNs.

Mr. Forest is the Vice President of Enterprise Products and Markets at InfoVista where he is responsible for the company’s overall SD WAN product strategy.  He has 20 years of experience in the telecommunications/networking industry.  Before InfoVista, Mr. Forest has spent time at Hughes Network Systems, Accel Networks, Arbros Networks, and MCI Communications (now owned by Verizon Communications).  He has held both technical and business roles throughout his career.  He has a B.S. degree in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from the University of Maryland.

Ronald van der Breggen

Ronald van der Breggen, Chief Commercial Officer of LeoSat Enterprises, has more than 20 years of experience in the telecom and satellite sectors.  A native of the Netherlands, van der Breggen began his telecom career at Dutch Telecom incumbent KPN, rising to the position of VP IP Services.  From 2003 to 2013, he served as Vice President Customer Account Management at SES, one of the world’s leading satellite operators.  Having worked in both the fiber and satellite industries, Ronald knows first hand the traditional limitation for data on satellites as compared to fiber.  With LeoSat’s unique constellation network this will now change as it brings opportunities for customers they never had before.  Ronald holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Nijenrode University as well as a Masters in Business Telecommunications from the Technical University of Delft, both in the Netherlands.

As director in the MEF's Office of the CTO, Daniel is responsible for the development and implementation of a range of strategic MEF programs that are central to MEF's transformation to an agile-process oriented standards development organization. These innovative programs - including the MEF Software Developer Community, MEFnet global implementation platform, and MEF Reference Implementations - enable MEF's 210+ member companies to implement draft and published service orchestration and definitions work in code, and to make available standardized open APIs that accelerate the availability of highly agile, assured and orchestrated services for today's hyper-connected world.
Daniel has been involved in the networking industry for 25 years holding a variety of positions in RAD Data Communications, as well as co-founding Resolute Networks where he held executive positions. Representing Resolute in the MEF, Daniel served for 3 years as MEF Global Marketing Co-Chair and was elected three times to the MEF Board of Directors. Since 2010, Daniel has been a senior member of the MEF staff.

Jens Leuchters

Jens Leuchters, 47, joined NTT Europe Ltd. on March 1st 2011. First, he was responsible for development, growth and business expansion in Central and Eastern Europe as General Manager for the region. In early 2017, he was appointed Senior Vice President of Network Services Europe. In this role, he sees the further expansion of Cloud-based Network Services, as well as the successive development and offering of additional innovative services across Europe. NTT Europe Ltd. Germany is a subsidiary of NTT Communications Corporation, a division of the NTT Group for Cloud, Data Center and international data communications solutions (TYO: 9432). 
Jens Leuchters has 25 years of experience in the telecommunication sector and has a solid knowledge in technology and sales. Prior to joining NTT Europe, he worked for the European IP network operator Interoute for over ten years. There he started as sales manager, then was promoted to Director Sales Central Europe and since 2003 he has held the position of Country Manager for Germany, Croatia and Slovenia. From 2008 he also held the position of Managing Director of Interoute Austria GmbH. Prior to that, he was the regional manager of i 21-future GmbH, responsible for Interoute's business in Austria. 
After completion of his electro technical education, Jens had gained his first experience in quality assurance in the automotive sector and later in the MIS / IT administration at British Telecom / Viag Intercom. Later he had the roles of MIS / IT Manager Germany to RSL COM and Customer Care Manager to Completel.


Sunit Chauhan
Senior Director Product Management

Sunit Chauhan leads the Product Management team for the SDWAN product line at Nuage Networks (Nokia).  Working closely with global Service Provider and Enterprise customers, his team defines the strategic direction and product roadmap for next-gen WAN services portfolio.

Sunit brings over 16 years of experience in the networking industry in product management, marketing and R&D roles. Most recently, he led the global product marketing team at Big Switch Networks. Prior to that, Sunit was in product management at Juniper Networks, responsible for Juniper's NFV and SDN product portfolio including Junos Virtual App Engine and Contrail, and was instrumental in defining Juniper’s SDN strategy including the acquisition of Contrail Systems.  Before Juniper, Sunit was a management consultant with Deloitte Consulting’s Strategy Practice out of the San Francisco office. He started his career as a routing protocols developer within Cisco Systems’ IOS Core IP Engineering group.

Sunit earned his MBA degree with high distinction from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He also holds a Masters and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering.

Laurent Perrin is Marketing Director, Application Driven Networks, in the Connectivity Business Unit of Orange Business Services. In this position he leads a team of senior product managers covering the B2B French market and the Multinational Companies worldwide. 

His mission is to support Orange Business Services customers in their transformation of the network. His team focusses on developing innovating products and solutions that adapt with new Cloud and Internet usage, leveraging SDN-NFV technologies and enabling an outstanding end user experience. Key focus areas are SD-WAN, WAN optimization, Application Performance Management, LAN and WLAN. 

Laurent Perrin has more than 20 year of experience in the B2B telecommunication market, with a strong marketing focus in innovative areas (Internet, M2M, hybrid networks) and long experience working in international and multicultural environment. 

Laurent is a graduate from Telecom ParisTech.

Nigel Larkin
Director Telecommunications

Nigel has been in the IS / IT business for more than 30 years. Currently working for Philip Morris International, he is the head of the architecture team responsible for all PMI telecommunications worldwide. During his 28 year career with Philip Morris Nigel has held a number of positions, starting with software development for real-time factory systems. Based initially in Munich Germany he was the driver behind PMI’s first European networks and in 2001 Nigel moved to Lausanne Switzerland as head of European Network Architecture. In 2003 Nigel moved to his current position with global responsibility. 

Before his career at PMI Nigel was involved in software research, most of his work at this time was military related, including domains such as radar signal processing, guidance systems and the development of satellite navigation systems. 


Mike Howell
Global Network Design

In my current role i am responsible for creating and driving through standards, strategies and road maps across Rentokil Initial’s global estate. Rentokil Initial is one of the largest business services companies in the world with over 35,000 employees in 70 countries. 

Previous to this role, I worked as a Network Specialist focused on enterprise networking, data centres, security and automation. I have an extensive background in programming having previously worked as a freelance Software Designer.  

I have been instrumental in driving the adoption and deployment of SD-WAN in Rentokil Initial having been working with the technology since 2015.

Damien Murphy is Senior Director for Solutions Engineering, EMEA and an eleven year veteran with Riverbed.  His focus is on delivering solutions for Enterprise customers in the application performance and, more recently, SD-WAN space. 

Originally from Dublin, Damien joined Riverbed Australia as the second employee and through joint customer success helped grow the team to over 60 people across Australia/New Zealand.  Prior to Riverbed, he held senior presales roles with Telecom New Zealand and BT Ireland. 

Damien holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Computer Science from University College Dublin. 


Kate Duncan
Senior Service Manager—WAN

Kate Duncan is responsible for the secure and reliable operation of Shell’s global WAN infrastructure.  The role involves working with Outsourcing partners to ensure connectivity to Shell’s 900+ locations meets the required service levels and implementing improvement plans for areas that are underperforming. 

Recent focus has been on the migration of services to the cloud and how that impacts on the WAN design, performance and future modes of operation. 

Kate Duncan has over 25 years of experience in the telecoms sector in service management and project management.

Claudio Scola

Claudio Scola is the Director of Product Management for European WAN and Cloud Enablement Services at Tata Communications and based in London. 

Claudio has over 25 years’ experience in the international telecommunications industry, spending the last 16 years bringing new data network services to market and growing them into key revenue streams for the business. 

One of Claudio’s key priorities, is to address enterprises' evolving network needs for agility, efficiency, growth and transformation. Claudio believes that Tata Communications’ next-generation hybrid services, that leverage the MPLS, Internet, SD-WAN and NFV, are essential for enabling this transformation. 

Claudio is also an active and certified member of MEF and a great advocate of Lifecycle Service Orchestration which brings dynamic flexibility and agility to network services. 

Prior to joining Tata, Claudio served in various product related roles for Level 3, Easynet, Interoute and Cable & Wireless, bringing Internet and WAN services to the international Enterprise and Wholesale market.

Jose Antonio is a Senior Global Product Manager at Telefónica Business Solutions, focused on delivering B2B SDN & NFV services. Since 2016, Jose has been leading the development of the organization’s SDWAN proposition and has deep knowledge of both vendor solutions and the requirements of end customers. Jose joined Telefónica in 2009, having previously worked for BT Global Services and Lucent Technologies, where he gained broad experience across a number of business areas, including Bid Management, Presales and Specialist Sales. Jose Antonio holds an Executive Development Program certification from IESE Business School and a degree in Physics.

Based in Hong Kong, Jim Fagan is Head of Global Platforms responsible for Cloud business and convergent technology groups across infrastructure, software-as-a-service, software-defined networking, mobility and partnering services.

Jim has 20 years of diverse experience. Prior to Telstra, Jim was President of Managed Services at Pacnet. He previously worked at Rackspace as Managing Director of Asia Pacific, where he oversaw the management, strategy and growth of the company’s Asia Pacific operations. He also served as Director of Financial Operations, and was instrumental in supporting the company’s IPO on the New York Stock Exchange.

Prior to joining Rackspace, Jim was at Dell for nine years, most recently as Finance Controller for the Managed Service business, where he was responsible for the overall financial management and pricing structure of the company’s services division. Previously, Jim worked at Chase Manhattan Bank and Sei Corporation.

Dimitrios Voutsinas

Dimitrios Voutsinas has over 20 year Telecommunications, Internet Service Provider and Financial Service Provider industry experience. Having worked at Bank of New Zealand, British Telecom, Radianz and Thomson Reuters. Dimitrios has gained end-to-end network and service management experience and established a strong leadership, consultancy and management track record with a very high level of credibility and integrity. He has led several large global IP Network transformational projects and seen them through all lifecycle stages - architecture, design, implementation, support, optimization and evolution. He has acquired extensive WAN, Internet and Data Centre experience and has been tasked with overseeing the design and implementation of some of the largest and most complex Service Provider and Financial low latency real time network architectures in the world. Dimitrios was a CCIE from 1998 to 2010 and has an MBA from Warwick University.


Archana Kesavan
Senior Product Marketing Manager

Archana Kesavan is a Sr. Product Marketing Manager at ThousandEyes, where she is responsible for product messaging, reporting on the health of the Internet and digging into the causes of outages that impact critical services. Prior to ThousandEyes, Archana was a Product Manger at Cisco Systems and Brocade managing the service provider mobile portfolio. Archana holds a Masters degree in Computer Networking from NC State. 



Michael Wood
Vice President of Marketing

Michael Wood is vice president of marketing for VeloCloud Networks, responsible for worldwide marketing, revenue generation, channel and sales enablement and communications. He has more than 20 years of leadership and management experience in the networking industry. Prior to VeloCloud, Wood served as vice president of product management and marketing for Akamai Technologies’ Cloud Networking Business Unit. He also was an executive in residence, and is currently an adviser, for Plug and Play Tech Center, a startup incubator and accelerator. Early in his career, Wood was with StrataCom as a senior member of the technical staff. After Cisco acquired StrataCom in 1996, Wood spent 15 years with Cisco in various positions, culminating in the director of product management and marketing role for the multibillion dollar branch office integrated services router business for enterprises and service providers. Wood has a bachelor’s degree in industrial technology and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from San Jose State University.

Peter Terry-Brown

Peter joined the Vodafone Group Enterprise Leadership Team in July 2017 as Unified Communications & Connectivity Director. Working in close collaboration with industry partners and the local market organisations, Peter is charged with optimising Vodafone Group’s Mobile portfolio offerings, accelerating the Unified Communications momentum and helping ensure profitable growth in Fixed business.

Prior to this he held a number of leadership roles across Vodafone UK and Vodafone Global Enterprise in Sales and Product Management.

He has over 15 years’ experience in the telecoms industry and previously worked at Cable and Wireless, where he led the delivery of Connectivity and Cloud solutions across 140 countries worldwide. He also led Consumer product development at Orange UK.

Peter spent the earlier part of his career in the Royal Navy and Royal Marines, where he had a number of active services roles both in the UK and overseas.

Steve Glasgow

Steve is a Director at Wavestone where he provides strategy development, sourcing advisory and delivery services to complex client organisations. He has shaped a long list of successful multi-national network centric deals over the last 10 years and he has a particular focus on next generation networks. 

Steve brings in excess of 25 years’ experience in the networks domain. He has an extensive commercial, technical and delivery background having operated as both the supplier and client for managed and outsourced services, resulting in a deep insight into the challenges from each perspective. Prior to Wavestone, Steve was a senior manager at a leading service provider responsible globally for the global banking sector, an area that grew consistently under his tenure.  

Steve holds a first class Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Electronic Systems Engineering from Aston University, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Commercial Management from De Montfort University and an MBA from Manchester University. He is also a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET).
